Plug in of the month - Output's Arcade

As a hip hop sound engineer, I'm always on the hunt for new tools that can help me elevate my mixing and mastering skills. However, this month, it's been music production that I've focused on and I've been using Arcade by Output and I love it. Here's why Arcade has become my go-to plug-in for music production.

One of the things I love about Arcade is how it helps me get into a full flow when I'm producing music. The vast library of sounds and instruments available makes it incredibly easy to start an idea for a beat and get inspired to create something. Experimenting with different sounds and finding what works best for me is always an exciting journey, and I feel like Arcade has been a huge catalyst for my creative process.

Another standout feature of Arcade is the ability to play my own melodies using the built-in instruments. This gives me a level of control and expression that I can't achieve by using samples alone. The sounds in Arcade don't sound like you're ordinary MIDI sounds - they give an authentic realness, which has been a game-changer for me.

In addition to helping me create beats from scratch, Arcade has also proved to be invaluable in enhancing beats that I've already started working on. Sometimes, I'll start a beat, and it just feels like it needs a fresh take or to be taken to the next level. Arcade makes it incredibly easy to do this by adding a new layer of percussion, a melodic line, or a sound effect.

Overall, Arcade has been a fantastic addition to my music production workflow. It has everything I need to create, enhance, and elevate my beat-making. If you're a hip hop producer or sound engineer looking for a tool that will inspire you and help you take your productions to the next level, I highly recommend giving Arcade a try.
