Hip Hop Mixing Engineer | Find Out About Me
I began producing and composing music in 2003 and from this my absolute passion for audio just grew and grew. I take enormous pleasure from my ability to create, edit and manipulate sound as a Hip Hop mixing engineer.
Up until 2005 I was completely self-taught. After this I knew I wanted to pursue sound engineering and music as a career. So I studied Music Technology at college, going on to gain a degree in this at University, where I would record and work with other students, gaining great feedback and many requests for repeat work.
If I genuinely feel I may not be able to give you the best results for you and your project, I will be 100% honest and discuss possible alternatives to get the best outcome.
My professional career began in 2012 when I became an audio producer, creating radio adverts and jingles for clients such as Argos, Cineworld, Superdrug, Next and The Perfume Shop. Alongside this my passion was mixing and mastering albums mainly for rappers and hip hop producers. From here I progressed onto working as an in-house studio engineer in a recording facility catering mainly to Urban artists where I would record vocalists and rappers. I would mix and master their work as well as being involved in all creative processes, often being dubbed “the Wizard” and “the Magician”.
I now enjoy being an independent Hip Hop mixing engineer, working with artists in the UK and around the world from my home studio. I relish the opportunity to work alongside other people and take enormous pleasure in seeing their reaction to the end result. I am genuinely excited by their journey from raw, untouched material to a finished and professional track.
